Reserve bank of India is the premier bank of India formed in 1934 under RBI act. RBI does the huge task of regulating the flow of money in the indian economy by stabilizing liquidity in the market through its various tools and measures.

RBI invites Applications for permenent recruitment of Legal Officers on total 6 vacancies. Relevant experience is required to apply for these posts.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be on the basis of perofmance in Written Test and personal Interview. Written test will be on Mar 31, 2013.

There will be two papers each having objective and descriptive qustions. One paper will be on GK of LAW and other will have questions on English Language. See official notice for more info on selection procedure.

• Fee is Rs. 100 (Nil for SC/ST/PWD). To be paid by a DD/IPO in favor of "Reserve Bank of India" and payable at Mumbai.
• Application Can be made Online or Offline. Note that you need to send the Application Form to RBI in both cases (Online and Offline application).

    • Keep the DD/IPO Ready (Not for SC/ST/PWD).

    • Take a Print of the application form. Paste a Photo and sign the form properly in the space provided.
    • Send the Application Form with DD/IPO (If Applicable) to the given address so as to reach By Feb 05, 2013.
  • Offline Application -
    • Keep the DD/IPO Ready (Not for SC/ST/PWD).
    • Take a print of This Application Format. Fill properly and send with DD/IPO (If Applicable) to the given address so as to reach By Feb 05, 2013.
• Subscribe the application cover as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF LEGAL OFFICER IN GRADE B".
• Name and Address in the application must be written IN CAPITAL LETTERS in English only.since processing is computerized. Should send the form by Ordinary Post Only.
• The application form may also be deposited in the box specially kept for the purpose at Reserve Bank of India, Opposite Mumbai Central Railway Station, Mumbai Central, Mumbai-400 008.
