Qualifications Required for the post:
Ø 1st class Diploma in Electronics & Communication
Nature of experience and other qualities for the post: Minimum 1 year experience in: -
Ø Managing studio equipments such as PTZ and handicam cameras, Audio and Video mixer etc.
Ø Should be capable of managing v-sat equipments and LMS software such as Trainnet.
Ø Knowledge in server and router configuration is desirable
4. Post 4 : Project Assistant for Trivandrum
Post Code : T-4 (C)
Remuneration : Rs. 9400/- Consolidated.
(Rupees Nine Thousand Four Hundred only)
Age Limit : Should not exceed 30 Years as on 06.04.2011
Number of Post : 3 (Three)
Qualifications Required for the post:
1st class Diploma in Electronics & Communication
Nature of experience and other qualities for the post: Minimum 1 year experience in: -
Ø Testing and trouble shooting of Microprocessor and Micro controller based boards and equipments.
Ø Schematic and Multi-layer PCB Design using Orcad, Cadstar, Cadence.
Ø Field implementation of Electronics / Communication products.
Ø Knowledge of traffic signal control equipments and Vehicle Detectors.
Ø Experience in SMD soldering and de-soldering.
Ø Working experience in RTU / DCS system.
5. Reservation & Concessions: As per Govt. of India instructions

6. Tenure and nature of Appointment:
Ø Duration of appointment: The appointment will be for One Year. The term may be extended to a maximum of Three years based on the performance of the candidate during the previous year and the requirement of the Centre.
7. Other Conditions:
Ø Candidates, who are already in employment under Central / State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies, are required to attach a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned along with the hard copy of the application.
Ø Initial screening of applications will be based on academic record, length and nature of experience. Short listed candidates shall be invited for Test / interview for final selection. The Centre reserves the right to fix higher standards for initial screening, based on the number of applications received.
Ø The Number of vacancies indicated is provisional and may vary at the time of actual selection. The Centre reserves the right not to fill up any of the posts, if it so desires.
8. How to apply:

Ø After applying online, the candidate should send hardcopy of application along with proof of experience, age and qualification to this office. If the same is not received us within the stipulated date, the application will not be considered for further processing.
Ø Proof of experience: Offer of appointment / salary slip etc will not be considered as proof of experience. Part- time employment / employment on daily wages will not be considered. Teaching experience will not be considered. Experience Certificate issued by the organization in which the candidate has worked or is working will only be considered as proof of experience.
Ø Candidates (SC/ST candidates exempted) are required to submit a non-refundable processing fee of Rs.100/- by demand draft drawn in favour of C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuram. DD drawn after 06.04.2011, the last date of receipt of online application, will not be accepted.
